Donald K. Jemison
Aug. 13, 1928 - Nov 16, 2006
Donald K. Jemison, 78 of New
Martinsville, departed this life on Thursday. Nov 16,
2006. at his residence. He was born Aug. 13,
1928. in Middlebourne, son of the late Gordon S. and Vinita Cole
Jemison. Donald was a retired employee of Ormet in Hannibal Ohio with 35 years of service. He was a
U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1946 to 1949 in the Occupation Forces
Constabulary Unit in Germany, then serving again from October of 19 50 to
August of 1951 in Korea, He was wounded Feb.15, 1951, in the battle of Chipyong-ni, NW of Wonju in
central Korea and was transferred to Kyoto, Japan. After recuperating from his
wounds, he finished his tour of duty in the Military Police in Kyoto until his discharge in August 1951.
He was a 50 year member and past Master of Middlebourne Lodge 34 AF&AM A
member of V.F.W. Post 6327 in Sistersville. Director of Union
Bank in Middlebourne from April of 1975 to March of 1998 and a member of the
Steelton Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was perceded in death by two sisters, Peggt
Jo Varnell an d Nancy Jean
Sellers. He is survived by his wife

Martha Belle Wince and her husband Chuck, of Grand Prairie, Texas; an aunt
Virginia Wessiling of Wayensville,
N.C.; sister in-law ,Carolee Stackpole
and husband Paul of Middlebourne and
Peggy Walsh of Wintersville, Ohio. brother
in-law Clem Sellers of Montgomery ,Ala.; nephews Russell Paul Stackpole II. and wife Sharon of
Middlebourne. Ronald Lee Stackpole
and wife Robin, of Flemington, Michael Walsh of N.J., Lee Wince and wife Kelly,
and Steve Wince and wife Dani. of Texas a niece RaeEllen
Forester of Parkersburg; great-nephews. Jarod,
Teddy, and Ben Stackpole, Alex Riley, Cole and Conner
Wince, and Nichoals Walsh; great-nieces Hannah, and
Rachel Forester, Breanna Stackpole,
and Amanda Wince; special friends and caregivers Leona Kirkland and Jamie
Benson, both of New Martinsville, Friends will be received on Friday Nov. 17,
at the Furbee Funeral home in Middlebourne where
services will be held on Saturday Nov.18, with Evangelist Edward Mellot officiating. Interment at Middlebourne Cemetery in Middlebourne. Military rites by V.F.W. post

Granville P. Jenkins
JENKINS,
Granville P. “Jack,” 71, of Pennsboro, W.Va. (Tyler County,) died Thursday,
November 10, 2005 at home. He was born June
7, 1934 in Wetzel County, the son of the late Coe Jenkins
and Madeline Riffel Quick. He was retired from Conony Construction as a truck driver; and a Protestant by
faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy
Anderson; and two sisters, Peggy Francis and Dorthy
Hamilton. Surviving are two sons, Steve Jenkins of Tyler County, Brian Jenkins
of Pennsboro; two daughters, Holly Jenkins of Middlebourne and Billie Jo Dunham
of N.M.; two brothers, Homer Gene Wade of Proctor and Van Jenkins; four
sisters, Mary Anderson of N.M., Alice O'Neal of N.M., Francis Yost of
Middlebourne and Pearl Smith of Middlebourne; ten grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Iams
Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at their Homeplace,
Tyler County.
Florence Irene (Sayre) Jones
FLORENCE IRENE JONES, 83, formerly of Springfield, died Sunday,
June 10, 2007
in Hollywood, Florida where she resided for the past
twelve years. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on January 14,
1924, the
daughter of George Brenton and Margaret Verida (Clingan) Sayre. Her last
employment was with Wittenberg University's Food Management Services.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Denny and Barb Pence of
Columbus, Donald Pence, with whom she resided in Florida, Diane and John Zugelder of Springfield, V. Duane and Regina Campbell of
South Vienna, and Dorene and Rob Carse
of Middlebourne, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Christina Newburn, Robert Rumpke Jr.,
Melissa Crawford, Molly Campbell, Kelly Campbell, John Carse,
and Charles (AC) Carse; four great-grandchildren,
Jessica Lyne Newburn and
Jacob, Jesse and Josh Ramey; and a sister, Verida
(Cy) Mallory of Russells Point, Ohio. She was
preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis G. Jones; a sister, Maxine Senseman; and brothers, Russell Sayer
and Charles Sayre. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday in the LITTLETON & RUE
FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with
Deacon Norm Horstman of St. Raphael Church officiating. Burial
will be in Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made
to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
Donna Darlene Judge
Donna Darlene Judge, 47, of Wick Community, Middlebourne, departed this life on
Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born June
6, 1960, in
New Martinsville, a daughter of Geromy Lloyd and
Margaret Jane Campbell Haught of Middlebourne.
Darlene was a graduate of Tyler County High School, Middlebourne. She has been a
foster parent for 20 years. Darlene had attended the Community Church of Jesus
Christ, Wick Community, Middlebourne. In addition to
her parents, Darlene is survived by her husband, David W. Judge; five sons, Jesse Lee Haught of Hawaii,
David Andrew Judge, Terry Eugene Judge, Zachary David Judge and Timothy
Clayton Judge, all of Wick; two daughters, Sonya Nichoel
Haught of Meadville and Silvia Leona Judge of Wick; a
brother, Buzz Haught of New Martinsville; a
sister, Debbie (Dennis) Strode of Middlebourne; and two grandchildren,
Elias Edwin Lee Haught and Braiden
Michael Haught. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Furbee
Funeral Home, Middlebourne, where services will be 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Jean Van Camp
officiating. Interment will be at the Judge Family Cemetery, Wick.
